Bless the Children Child Care Center's Philosophy
Our team is committed to providing a quality non-denominational Christian program
that is positive, nurturing, safe, and educationally stimulating.  Our goal is to have
each child reach her/his full potential through unique learning experiences.  Each
child is given the opportunity to creatively explore and experience an enriching,
carefully planned and implemented learning environment that promotes whole child
development.

Bless the Children's curriculum fosters the spiritual, emotional, intellectual,
physical, and social development for all children.  Our curriculum meets the needs of
the whole child, and provides one - on - one attention to meet the individualized
needs of children.
Spiritual Development
Our goal is to help each child know that God loves everyone, each of us are special,
God is our strength and we strive to be like Jesus in our thoughts, words, and
deeds.  The program consists of:
  • Christian Activities
  • Prayer
  • Bible Stories
  • Songs
  • Weekly Chapel time with Pastor
Emotional Development
We help each child develop self-confidence, independence, and self-discipline by:
  • Role modeling positive behavior
  • Teaching conflict resolution methods
  • Teaching relationship skill development
  • Celebrating successful accomplishments
Intellectual Development
We will help each child perceive, figure, think, question, build, problem-solve, create,
and discover by using teacher directed, age-appropriate curriculum, and child
initiated experiences through:
  • sensory activities
  • math
  • reading
  • science
  • music
  • art
  • language
  • fine and large motor skill activities
  • cooking
  • field trips
  • dramatic play
Physical Development
We help develop increased confidence about his/her own body's capabilities.  We
also focus on the development of small and large muscle skills.  The goal is to
complete common tasks (eating, resting, toileting, washing, and dressing) and develop
muscles through indoor and outdoor activities.
Social Development
We work with each child to help them learn the concepts of sharing, giving,
cooperation, and trust.  Our goal is to help them make friends and understand group
versus individual needs.
